Trainings on CHFA Programs is designed to provide realtors with a thorough introduction to all aspects of CHFA mortgage programs for first time homebuyers. She joined CHFA in 2014 as a Marketing Coordinator for Single Family and now holds the position of Business Officer III Training. Rita has worked on CHFA loans throughout her career providing support and training to mortgage professionals that work for national lenders, local banks and mortgage companies. Rita is responsible for developing and implementing training initiatives for CHFA that include teaching a continuing education class for real estate agents throughout the state. She is a designated liaison for CHFA Single Family responding to inquiries from the public and lenders as they relate to CHFA mortgage loan programs, products and services. Rita represents CHFA as an active member of the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Affordable Housing Committee and the Military Community Coalition. Prior to joining CHFA, Rita was the Mortgage Specialist for USDA/ Rural Development for 13 years. Cancellations must be made two business days before the start of a course to receive a full refund.
